At Marian House, we deeply value the involvement of family and friends in the lives of our residents. To ensure that your visits are as smooth and comfortable as possible, we’ve outlined important information and guidelines below.

  • CCTV in Operation: For the safety and security of all our residents, CCTV is operational throughout Marian House.
  • CQC Registered: We are a CQC registered care home, committed to providing the highest standard of care and professionalism.
  • Charity Commission Registered: Marian House is also registered with the Charity Commission, affirming our commitment to excellence and care.

To visit, please press the call bell at the main entrance. Our staff will greet you and let you into the building. Once inside, please sign in using our E-reception device for a quick and easy registration.

If you’re visiting a resident in the St Anne’s unit, please use the St Anne’s entrance at the back of the building.

  • Pets: For health and safety reasons, pets are not allowed inside Marian House.
  • Children: Children are welcome to visit but must be supervised by an adult during their time at Marian House.
  • Live Streaming: If you cannot attend in person, we offer live streaming from the chapel to individual rooms, allowing residents to join the services from the comfort of their rooms.
  • Mass: Daily Mass is held at 11:00 AM in the chapel, providing a spiritual connection for our residents.
  • Evening Prayer: Evening Prayer takes place at 4:00 PM each day.

We welcome any donations from our community, which directly benefit our residents and support the home’s activities.

  • Monthly Activities: A calendar of monthly activities is available starting from the 1st week of the month, enabling family members to plan and get involved.
  • Hairdresser: A hairdresser is available every Tuesday for residents to enjoy a grooming session.
  • Chiropodist: A chiropodist visits every 6 weeks to provide foot care.
